Miriam's classes are a fusion of spirit, grace and empowerment through a dynamic physical practice.
After years spent learning ballet and then training in contemporary dance, Miriam always felt a strong connection to physical movement. Since having multiple injuries, her journey with dance came to a close and Miriam discovered yoga as a therapeutic practice for both body and mind. Miriam has been pleasantly surprised at the positive impact a consistent yoga practice has had on all aspects of her life. Inspired to journey further into the world of yoga, Miriam recently completed her 200-hour SOULution Yoga teacher training under the guidance of Bonnie Argo and Roz Penfold.
Working as a mental health nurse, Miriam has found yoga to be a unique and powerful tool to harness the mind-body connection and is eager to share this with others in her classes.
Miriam has trained in BASI Pilates and enjoys sharing the precision of movement that matwork offers. She enjoys the multidisciplinary approach that she has to share through teaching and uses her experience to offer precise adjustments to tune up your practice.
