Why Yoga & Clay?
Yoga and clay are both practices of being present rather than being perfect.
In yoga, we use breath and movement to slow down, pay attention, and reconnect with ourselves. We learn to soften, let go of expectations, and meet each moment as it is. Handbuilding with clay invites us into a similar experience.
Working with our hands, we explore texture, shape, and movement through touch. Rather than forcing an outcome, we're encouraged to respond to what is happening in the moment, allowing curiosity and creativity to guide the process.
This is where The Art of Letting Go comes in.
Let go of the idea that it needs to be perfect. Let go of expectations. Let go of rushing towards an outcome.
Instead, we slow down. We breathe. We create. We notice.
Pieces will not be fired. This experience is intentionally focused on process rather than product, inviting you to enjoy the simple act of making without attachment to the final result.
Yoga brings the body into presence. Clay brings the hands into presence.
Together, they create space to pause, reconnect, and let go.
