Voice to Parliament Community Discussion

  • SOULution yoga & pilates 30 Lonsdale Street Braddon, ACT, 2612 Australia (map)

Join Wiradyuri academic James Blackwell, Research Fellow in Indigenous Diplomacy at ANU, and Kim Rubenstein, Professor in Law at University of Canberra as they share their knowledge and expertise about the Uluru Statement From the Heart and constitutional reform.

They will explore how the statement came to be, what the proposed reforms are and constitutional change. They will also discuss how Voice, Treaty, Truth fit with models of good governance, active citizenship, and a constitution that better reflects contemporary Australia.

Proudly supported by Soulution Yoga, this talk will offer a terrific political and legal introduction to the Voice, referendum and will include an open Q&A session.

Can't make the session but still keen to learn? Check out James and Kim's new podcast 'It's not just the vibe, it's the Constitution!'
